C208 - Secure Installation, Configuration, and Migration Practices

Secure Installation, Configuration, and Migration Practices provides a unique learning environment: an ongoing one-on-one session between a student and an instructor. In this course, the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SCO OpenServer is discussed with an emphasis on the student's own computer and network infrastructure. Additionally, the course explores issues involved in migrating from one version of SCO OpenServer to another.

Because of the unique nature of this class, the sessions are carried out via a combination of remote communications: land-line phone conversations, secure shell logins, and the talk utility. The ongoing session will last a total of thirty hours spread out over a period of time negotiated between  the instructor and the student. This course is an intensive form of training lead by the instructor's experience and the student's needs.
