215 - Fundamentals of UNIX & Linux SystemsFundamentals of Unix & Linux Systems is designed for system administrators end users who work with UNIX & Linux Systems in business, scientific, engineering, or home work environments. In this course, students learn to accomplish basic tasks such as creating, organizing, and removing files; using text editors; printing; and monitoring their processes. Students learn to accomplish these tasks through a command line interface. Fundamentals of UNIX & Linux Systems provides a technical overview of UNIX & Linux Systems through task-oriented lectures and hands-on labs. The class provides pre-requisite skill training for the SCO OpenServer Release 5 and UnixWare 7 System Administration courses.
