About ATCS Advanced Training and Consulting Services, Inc. - the only Authorized Education Center in California for Tarantella , Caldera , and SCO - develops technical curriculum and delivers professional training in Unix, Linux, Tarantella, networking, and Java with an emphasis on technologies from SCO and Tarantella. Although ATCS’ headquarters are in California, its instructors work internationally as consultants and instructors at other training centers. ATCS has trained employees of companies and organizations, such as: Bank of America EDS IBM Intel Fujitsu Nokia Safeway United States Air Force United States Army United States Coast Guard Department of Defense Bureau of Land Management Internal Revenue Service   ATCS also teaches the employees of Tarantella and SCO and leads the Train-the-Trainer sessions for other instructors. ATCS is the author of Tarantella’s Express, Enterprise II, and Enterprise 3.0, Enterprise 3.1, Enterprise 3.2, and Enterprise 3.3 curricula, and also has developed training manuals for SCO and Nokia. The founder of ATCS, Brian Watrous, has worked in the computer industry for eighteen years. He is a former SCO employee of seven years, where he gained experience in a variety of engineering roles. In the seven years since Brian’s departure from SCO, he has been actively involved in technical training and curriculum development. He is currently a Master ACE (Advanced Certified Engineer) Instructor in UnixWare, OpenServer, and Tarantella, an Open Learning Provider Instructor, and Instructor of the Year, in addition to his busy duties as President and CEO of ATCS, Inc.
